Planning permission was granted by Sedgemoor District Council for the development under several planning applications; permission for barns 1-4 was granted under application number 13/11/00006 (this was updated in June 2019 under application number 13/19/00018). Permission was granted in August 2020 for the development of barns 5 and 6 under application numbers 13/19/00006 and 13/19/00008.
SERVICES
Water – new mains connections will need to be established to service the dwellings. The mains water supply is situated within the adjoining land to the east of the proposed development and the relevant easements will be granted to facilitate the new connection via the land.
Electricity – new mains electricity connections will need to be established to service the dwellings.
Drainage – a sewage treatment plant will need to be installed to service the dwellings. The relevant easements will be granted to facilitate the discharge from this plant into the ditch to the north.
